Our Mission

We love food so much that when we run on a treadmill, pizza sweat beads from our skins. Our restaurant opinions and ratings reflect the experience at the time of dining, so don’t take it too seriously, people can change. The more information you have at your fingertips, the better informed decisions you can make with your stomach. Bon appetit!

 

Our Rating system

There is no science, it’s all about the feel. It’s like when you meet someone for the very first time, you don’t know why you gave that lady a 7/10 without speaking to them. The score is a combination of food,¬†ambiance, value and service factors with weightings relative to the type of place. So a hole-in-the-wall diner in the middle of Mongolia¬†could get a 5 star rating.

5 stars = Best of the best

4 stars = Very good, with some highlights

3 stars = Good, without being special

2 stars = Needs improvement

1 star = Mediocre, stay away

 

Statement of Ethics

Our blog is a personal expression of eating experiences told through words and pictures, not a platform for marketing.

  • All meals are paid for from the diners – this includes voucher offers and Entertainment card discounts.
  • All visits are anonymous
  • We will not blog on meals or products that were a gift or subsidised from the business, PR or anyone other than a paying customer
  • Full disclosure is provided if a potential impact to objectivity is present e.g. compliments of the chef, owner is a friend, meal was a prize etc.
